The Delhi Township Police Department is charged with the responsibility of providing complete law enforcement services for the community of Delhi Township. The Police Department provides uniform patrol service, criminal investigation, and records maintenance. The Police Department also maintains a two-cell jail.

Delhi Township Police Headquarters is located in the Howard R. Makin Law Enforcement Complex at 934 Neeb Road. Also maintained are the Delshire Sub-station located at 4460 Glenhaven Road and the Rapid Run Sub-station located at 6321 Rapid Run. Administered by the Office of the Chief, the Delhi Township Police Department is organized into three divisions: the Patrol Division, the Investigation Division, and the Support Services Division.

For all non-emergency situations, please call 513-922-0060 between the hours of 8:00am and 10:00pm Monday – Friday to speak to a Police Clerk. For all non-emergency situations between 10:00pm and 8:00am or on weekends, please call 513-922-0060 and leave a message for an officer and they will call you back as soon as possible.

Message From the Chief

Chief Howarth

On behalf of the men and women of the Delhi Township Police Department, I would like to tell you it is a pleasure serving the Delhi Community.

The Delhi Police Department takes pride in its relationship with the Delhi community. As Police Chief for Delhi Township, it is my responsibility to make sure your Police Department continues to provide quality police services with pride, professionalism, and respect. Each and every day Delhi Police Officers are accountable for carrying out the mission of the Police Department: “The protection of life, the protection of rights, the protection of property, the maintenance of order, justice with compassion; all accomplished in partnership with the community”.

I encourage citizens to become involved with YOUR Police Department. The department has excellent community organizations such as the Delhi Citizen’s Police Association (DCPA), Citizens on Patrol (COP), Citizen’s Police Academy (CPA), and Neighborhood Watch Programs. If you have an interest in the aforementioned programs please feel free to contact me directly.
