Permanent repairs made to the pavement and curbs by the Public Works Department typically performed as a spring, summer or fall activity.
Temporary, full depth pothole repairs and curb repairs made with cold mix asphalt performed as a winter activity while the hot mix asphalt plants are closed for the season.
Administration and inspection of construction contracts for infrastructure repairs performed by outside contractors.
Review, issue and inspect permits for any work performed within the Township’s right-of-way.
New subdivision review and inspection leading up to the acceptance of the roadway as part Township’s network.
Debris sweeping from township roadways performed in late fall of each year.
Debris removal from drainage roadway facilities performed in late fall of each year.
Catch basin, manhole and storm sewer pipe repair or replacement performed as needed.
Trim vegetation that is unsafe for vehicular and pedestrian traffic performed on a complaint basis.
Placement and repair of roadway signage. New signs are placed on an as requested basis provided that they conform to State of Ohio - Department of Transportation standards. All signs are replaced within a 10 year cycle.

Winter snow and ice control includes salting and plowing of all Township maintained streets and facilities. Also, contracting to assist the Oak Hills Local School District.
