Residential Financing Programs
Delhi Township partners with local and regional agencies to offer qualifying residents programs to assist in home purchasing, repairs and improvements. Following is a list of some of the available programs. Please contact Community Development to discuss your project so we can assist you in finding a program that works best for your needs.
Housing Repair & Improvement Programs
Hamilton County Home Improvement Program
The Hamilton County Home Improvement Program (HIP) is an initiative of the County Commissioners and the County Treasurer. The "HIP" loan allows home owners within the County to borrow money to repair and remodel their homes or rental properties at interest rates 3% below the lowest rate a bank would normally offer. Such loans may be used for improvements such as: bathrooms, decks, landscaping, room additions, replacement windows and doors, etc.

People Working Cooperatively (PWC) offers home repair and emergency home repair services to qualify low moderate income residents in Hamilton County.

Down Payment & Closing Cost Assistance
The Greater Cincinnati Redevelopment Authority through their Communities First Ohio - Down Payment Assistance Program can provide grants of up to 5% to households who meet various home income and financial criteria. Renter Accessibility Program
Hamilton County Planning and Development can provide grants to renters and landlords to pay for accessibility modifications in rental units. If a renter has a disability and needs to make modifications to the unit, like a ramp or grab bar, this program can help. Sewer & Water Grants
Hamilton County Public Health can provide loans and grants for qualifying homeowners. Grants are based on family income and applicants must be over 62 years of age. Loans have no age restrictions, but may have income restrictions. Moneys may be used for sewage treatment systems and sewer tap fees or other home repairs.
